Terms and conditions of sale
1. General principles
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales made by the company "VET SECURITE SAS" via the website www.vetsecurite.com, whether to individuals or professionals (companies, associations, etc.), for delivery in Metropolitan France, Corsica, as well as in the following countries: Belgium, Italy, Spain and Portugal, within the limits of available stocks.
We also accept shipments to French overseas departments and regions.
All our sales are governed by French law. These general conditions apply to all orders received, subject to expressly indicated modifications.
2. Product characteristics
Product specifications are described as accurately as possible in the product sheets on the site. Images, descriptions and other visual information are provided for informational purposes and may differ slightly from actual products.
These products comply with standards in force on French territory, particularly regarding safety and quality, and have the necessary certifications where applicable.
3. Orders
The essential characteristics and price of our products are indicated on the pages containing the detailed description of the products in the online store.
The "confirm order" button allows you to confirm your order, which then becomes final, and a sales contract is thus concluded. We confirm receipt of your order by email.
Please note that delivery of ordered products is carried out against advance payment (reservation) in the case of payment by bank transfer. Therefore, we ask you to proceed with payment of the sale price without delay and at the latest within 7 days following receipt of our order confirmation. After this period, the order may be automatically canceled.
Any order constitutes acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, prices and descriptions of products available for sale.
We reserve the right to refuse any order for reasons of insufficient stock, payment issues, or if the general terms and conditions of sale are not respected.
4. Prices
Invoices are established at the rate in effect on the day of the conclusion of the sale, in euros and all taxes included (TTC).
Unless otherwise indicated, product prices do not include delivery costs, which are additional. Delivery rates and conditions are clearly indicated on our website, and can be consulted on the technical sheet of each product as well as in the "Delivery" section of the website www.vetsecurite.com.
We reserve the right to modify these delivery costs, and any modification will be communicated to the customer before the final validation of the order.
5. Payment
Payments are accepted by any means: credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and flexible payments with Klarna.
In case of payment by credit card, the entire transaction carried out on our website is directed, in encrypted mode, to a bank validation server in SSL mode (Secure Socket Layer), guaranteeing data security.
Payment terms are indicated on our site. Unless otherwise specified, payment must be made at the time of ordering. No discount for early payment is applied.
Payment is deemed to have been made when the funds are actually credited to the account of the company "VET SECURITE".
If an invoice that has reached its due date is not paid, even partially, the company "VET SECURITE" reserves the right to claim, after prior formal notice sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (or other equivalent means) that remains without effect after a period of 8 days, and without prejudice to all damages, late payment penalties, calculated on the amounts due, at an interest rate equal to 3 times the legal interest rate in force.
In case of payment default, all amounts due to our company become immediately payable, without formality, and we reserve the right to suspend or cancel current orders.
Professional customers will also have to pay a flat-rate contribution of 40 euros per unpaid invoice to cover administrative costs related to the processing of the unpaid amount.
Payment by check is not accepted.
6. Delivery
Product availability is updated in real time on the product pages of our website. Delivery is generally carried out within 24 hours for orders placed before 4:00 PM via Chronopost Home or Chronopost Relay, subject to stock availability and external conditions. If the order is placed after 4:00 PM or if an unexpected delay occurs, the average observed delivery time is 48 hours (Metropolitan France excluding Corsica).
Delivery with GLS Chez Vous+ and GLS Relais is free from €69 purchase including tax.
In case of product unavailability, we will inform you by email as soon as possible. If a product is unavailable, we will strive to offer you a substitute product of equivalent quality or a discount voucher, failing which we will cancel your order.
If the product cannot be delivered within the announced timeframes, the customer must contact our Customer Service from their customer account, by email at [email protected], or by letter to VET SECURITE, 34 rue de Sistrières, 15000 Aurillac to request a reasonable additional deadline for delivery.
If delivery has not taken place within this additional period, the customer may request cancellation of their order by contacting Customer Service. The order will then be canceled upon receipt of the request, and the customer will be refunded the full amount paid within 14 days from receipt of this request, using the same payment method used during the order.
A non-premium rate number is available for any questions regarding delivery: 09 74 59 13 65.
7. Compliance - Receipt
The customer is required to check the condition of the ordered products upon receipt. In case of visible damage to the package or product, it is recommended to make precise reservations with the carrier and inform us immediately.
If the product received does not correspond to the order (product error, lack of conformity), the customer must contact us within seven days from receipt, unless they decide to exercise their right of withdrawal. The complaint can be made by:
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: 09 74 59 13 65
To accelerate the processing of the request, the customer is invited to provide evidence (photos, detailed description of the problem). After validation of the complaint, we will propose an appropriate solution, which may include an exchange, refund or product return depending on the case.

9. Storage of products by the customer
The customer is required to verify and comply with the storage and warehousing instructions appearing on the product technical sheets and on their packaging.
The company "VET SECURITE" cannot be held responsible for any deterioration of products, materials or accessories resulting from storage in conditions unsuitable for their nature (exposure to humidity, extreme temperatures, direct light, etc.).
In case of non-compliance with these conditions, no claim or refund request can be accepted for damaged products.
10. Warranty
The products offered on the site comply with current French legislation and standards applicable in France.
Products benefit from all French legal warranties, including the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).
In case of apparent defect or non-compliance with the order, the customer may request a refund or exchange of the concerned products. The request can be made either by email to [email protected], or by mail to the following address: VETSECURITE.com, 34 rue de Sistrières, 15000 Aurillac. Products must be returned in their original condition, accompanied by packaging, invoice or any document justifying the purchase.
It is recalled that, within the framework of the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to assert their rights. The customer may choose between repair or replacement of the product, subject to the cost conditions defined in article L.217-9 of the Consumer Code.
The customer is exempted from providing proof of non-conformity for 24 months following delivery of the goods (6 months for used goods).
Furthermore, the customer can choose to invoke the warranty against hidden defects, under Article 1641 of the Civil Code. In this case, they can request either the cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.
11. Product retention
In case of payment incident on any of the customer's orders, the company "SAS VET SECURITE" reserves the right to retain unpaid products as long as they have not been actually delivered.
Furthermore, the company may suspend any new order or any delivery in progress until the situation is regularized.
12. Retention of title clause
Products are sold subject to retention of title until full payment of the product price, costs related to the sale and interest. In case of non-payment, the customer will be required to return the unpaid products at their own expense, risk and peril, after receiving formal notice by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The return must occur within 15 days following receipt of the formal notice, to the address indicated by the company "SAS VET SECURITE".
The resolution of the contract occurs without prejudice to the right of withdrawal provided for in article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, which allows the customer to return products within 14 days from their receipt.

INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen days.
The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you physically takes possession of the last item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may also fill out and submit the withdrawal form template or any other unambiguous statement on our website www.vetsecurite.com. If you use this option, we will send you without delay an acknowledgment of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (for example, by email). For the withdrawal period to be respected, it is sufficient that you send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal period.
Effects of withdrawal
In case of withdrawal from this contract on your part, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from the fact that you chose, if applicable, a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us) without undue delay and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will proceed with the refund using the same payment method that you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree to a different method; in any case, this refund will not incur any fees for you. We may defer the refund until we have received the item or until you have provided proof of shipment of the item, whichever occurs first.
You must return or surrender the item to us without undue delay and, in any case, no later than fourteen days after you have communicated your decision to withdraw from this contract to us. This deadline is deemed to be met if you return the item before the expiration of the fourteen-day period.
You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the item.
