Intervention clothing for fire safety

Fire safety officers, volunteer or professional firefighters, have a set of clothing adapted to their different missions. Interventions in extreme conditions such as fires can only be carried out with an F1 uniform, regulated to ensure complete protection for firefighters. Jacket, pants and helmets are the emblematic elements of this F1 equipment, effective against heat, flames, smoke and collapses. Fire safety officers also need versatile clothing to ensure their shifts at the fire station or at the security post of a public place. T-shirt or red polo, jacket, softshell, fleece, sweatshirt, parka are thus part of everyday life. Firefighters also wear safety pants with reflective strips.

Equipment for firefighters

Grouped within the SDIS, firefighters perform several types of missions in the field: protection of people and the environment, fire prevention and safety, emergency rescue...
