Terms and conditions of sale
1. General principles
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales made by the company "VET SECURITE SAS" via the site www.vetsecurite.com, whether to private individuals or professionals (companies, associations, etc.), for delivery on the territory of Metropolitan France, Corsica, as well as the following countries: Belgium, Italy, Spain and Portugal, within the limits of available stock.
We also accept shipments to French overseas departments and regions.
All our sales are governed by French law. These general terms and conditions apply to all orders received, subject to expressly indicated modifications.
2. Product characteristics
Product specifications are described as accurately as possible in the product pages on the site. Images, descriptions and other visual information are provided for indicative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual products.
These products comply with the standards in force on French territory, particularly with regard to safety and quality, and hold the necessary certifications where applicable.
3. Orders
The essential characteristics and price of our products are indicated on the pages containing the detailed product descriptions of the online store.
The "confirm order" button allows you to confirm your order, which then becomes final, and a sales contract is thereby concluded. We confirm receipt of your order by email.
Please note that delivery of ordered products is carried out against advance payment (reservation) in the case of payment by bank transfer. Therefore, we ask you to proceed with payment of the sale price without delay and at the latest within 7 days of receiving our order confirmation. After this period, the order may be automatically cancelled.
Any order constitutes acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, the prices and the descriptions of the products available for sale.
We reserve the right to refuse any order for reasons of insufficient stock, payment issues, or failure to comply with the general terms and conditions of sale.
4. Prices
Invoices are issued at the price in effect on the date the sale is concluded, in euros and inclusive of all taxes (VAT included).
Unless otherwise indicated, product prices do not include delivery costs, which are additional. Delivery rates and conditions are clearly indicated on our website, and can be consulted on each product's technical sheet as well as in the "Delivery" section of the site www.vetsecurite.com.
We reserve the right to modify these delivery charges, and any modification will be communicated to the customer before the final validation of the order.
5. Payment
Payments are accepted by any means: credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and flexible payments with Klarna.
In the event of payment by credit card, the entire transaction carried out on our website is directed, in encrypted mode, to a bank validation server using SSL (Secure Socket Layer), ensuring data security.
Payment deadlines are indicated on our site. Unless otherwise specified, payment must be made at the time of the order. No discount for early payment is applied.
Payment is deemed to have been made when the funds are effectively credited to the account of the company "VET SECURITE".
If an invoice that has fallen due is not settled, even partially, the company "VET SECURITE" reserves the right to claim, after a prior formal notice sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (LRAR) (or equivalent means) that has remained without effect after a period of 8 days, and without prejudice to any damages, late payment penalties calculated on the amounts owed, at an interest rate equal to 3 times the applicable legal interest rate.
In the event of non-payment, all amounts owed to our company become immediately due without formality, and we reserve the right to suspend or cancel pending orders.
Professional customers will also be required to pay a flat-rate contribution of 40 euros per unpaid invoice to cover the administrative costs related to the processing of the non-payment.
Payment by cheque is not accepted.
6. Delivery
Product availability is updated in real time on the product pages of our site. Delivery is generally carried out within 24 hours for orders placed before 4:00 PM via Chronopost Home or Chronopost Relay, subject to stock availability and external conditions. If the order is placed after 4:00 PM or if an unforeseen delay occurs, the average observed delivery time is 48 hours (Metropolitan France excluding Corsica).
GLS Home+ and GLS Relay Point delivery is free from €79 of purchases including VAT.
In the event of a product being unavailable, we will inform you by email as soon as possible. If a product is unavailable, we will endeavor to offer you a substitute product of equivalent quality or a discount voucher, failing which your order will be cancelled.
If the product cannot be delivered within the announced timeframe, the customer must contact our Customer Service from their customer account, by email at [email protected], or by letter to VET SECURITE, 34 rue de Sistrières, 15000 Aurillac, in order to request a reasonable additional delivery period.
If delivery has not taken place within this additional period, the customer may request cancellation of their order by contacting Customer Service. The order will then be cancelled upon receipt of the request, and the customer will be refunded the full amount paid within 14 days of receipt of this request, using the same payment method used when placing the order.
A toll-free number is available for any questions regarding delivery: 09 74 59 13 65.
7. Conformity - Receipt
The customer is required to check the condition of the ordered products upon receipt without fail. In the event of visible damage to the parcel or the product, it is recommended to make precise reservations with the carrier and to inform us immediately.
If the product received does not match the order (wrong product, non-conformity), the customer must contact us within seven days of receipt, unless they decide to exercise their right of withdrawal. The claim may be made by:
- E-mail: [email protected]
- Phone: 09 74 59 13 65
To speed up the processing of the request, the customer is invited to provide evidence (photos, detailed description of the problem). After validation of the claim, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include an exchange, a refund, or a product return depending on the case.
8. Withdrawal
8.1 Right of withdrawal

8.6 Payment by credit
If the order price is fully or partially covered by credit granted to the Customer, the exercise of the right of withdrawal will result in the termination of the credit agreement without penalty.
9. Storage of products by the customer
The customer is required to check and comply with the storage and warehousing instructions appearing on the product technical sheets and on their packaging.
The company "VET SECURITE" cannot be held liable for any deterioration of products, materials or accessories resulting from storage under conditions unsuitable for their nature (exposure to humidity, extreme temperatures, direct light, etc.).
In the event of non-compliance with these conditions, no claim or refund request will be accepted for damaged products.
10. Guarantee
The products offered on the site comply with French legislation in force and applicable standards in France.
Products benefit from all French legal guarantees, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).
In the event of an apparent defect or non-conformity with the order, the customer may request a refund or exchange of the products concerned. The request may be made either by email at [email protected], or by post to the following address: VETSECURITE.com, 34 rue de Sistrières, 15000 Aurillac. Products must be returned in their original condition, accompanied by the packaging, invoice or any document proving the purchase.
It is recalled that, within the framework of the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to assert their rights. The customer may choose between repair or replacement of the product, subject to the cost conditions defined in article L.217-9 of the Consumer Code.
The customer is exempt from proving the lack of conformity for 24 months following delivery of the goods (6 months for second-hand goods).
Furthermore, the customer may choose to invoke the guarantee against hidden defects, pursuant to article 1641 of the Civil Code. In that case, they may request either the cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with article 1644 of the Civil Code.
11. Product retention
In the event of a payment incident on one of the customer's orders, the company "SAS VET SECURITE" reserves the right to retain unpaid products for as long as they have not been effectively delivered.
Furthermore, the company may suspend any new order or any ongoing delivery until the situation has been regularized.
12. Retention of title clause
Products are sold subject to retention of title until full payment of the product price, related sale costs and interest. In the event of non-payment, the customer will be required to return the unpaid products at their own expense, risk and peril, upon receipt of a formal notice by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The return must take place within 15 days of receipt of the formal notice, to the address indicated by the company "SAS VET SECURITE".
Termination of the contract occurs without prejudice to the right of withdrawal provided for in article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, which allows the customer to return the products within 14 days of their receipt.
13. Intellectual property
All elements present on our website or in our catalogues, whether texts, images, videos, logos, underlying technologies, designs, trademarks, drawings and models, as well as certain products we market that may be protected by patents, are protected by copyright, trademark law, design law, and patent law. These protections are valid both in France and internationally.
No reproduction, reuse, or total or partial use of these elements may be carried out without our prior written consent (for example, by email or contract), under penalty of holding the infringer liable for counterfeiting.
In the event of infringement of these rights, we reserve the right to demand the immediate removal of any infringing content, as well as compensation for the damages suffered.

INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen days.
The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, physically takes possession of the last item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may also complete and submit the model withdrawal form or any other unambiguous statement on our website www.vetsecurite.com. If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal without delay on a durable medium (for example, by email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from the fact that you have chosen, where applicable, a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us) without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days after the day on which you communicate your decision to withdraw from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
