SCU14 Wasp Z3A Mil-Tec Softshell Jacket

The Mil-Tec SCU14 softshell jacket is designed for outdoor activities, tactical leisure and travel in cool or changeable weather. Its three-layer laminated construction combines protection, breathability and thermal comfort.

Its CIV-TEC® WASP I Z3A camouflage favours green shades. It is particularly suited to forests, wooded areas and environments with dense vegetation.

Three-layer structure against wind and moisture

The outer layer combines polyester and elastane in a 310 g/m² fabric. This composition offers good resistance while retaining the flexibility needed for movement.

The intermediate polyurethane membrane helps limit wind and moisture penetration. The third polyester fleece layer provides softness and thermal insulation.

This laminated structure forms a versatile jacket suited to outdoor activities and extended use in cool weather.

Breathable membrane with a 5,000 mm water column

The polyurethane membrane offers a stated water column of 5,000 mm. It protects against light showers and moisture encountered during outdoor activities.

Its breathable design promotes the evacuation of vapour produced by the body. It thus helps maintain better comfort during movement and moderate exertion.

The SCU14 provides an effective intermediate layer between a standard fleece and a heavier waterproof jacket.

Underarm vents to dissipate heat

Zipped openings are positioned under the armpits to improve air circulation. They can be opened quickly when activity becomes more intense.

This mechanical ventilation allows some of the heat and moisture accumulated inside the jacket to be released.

The openings can then be closed when the temperature drops or the user reduces their level of exertion.

Wasp Z3A camouflage suited to heavily vegetated areas

The CIV-TEC® WASP I Z3A pattern is composed mainly of green shades and fragmented shapes. It is designed for vegetation-rich environments.

Its pattern is particularly suited to deciduous forests, conifer woods, scrubland and very green agricultural areas.

This camouflage also gives the jacket a distinctive technical appearance suited to outdoor activities, airsoft and tactical leisure.

Multiple zipped pockets for storage

The jacket features several chest pockets closed by zip. They allow accessories to be kept accessible while reducing the risk of loss.

An interior zipped pocket provides additional storage for sensitive personal items such as a phone or documents.

The closures are equipped with windproof guards to improve comfort and limit air ingress.

Retractable hood and practical adjustments

The hood is concealed in the collar when not in use. It can be deployed quickly to protect the head against wind or a light shower.

The sleeves are adjustable via hook-and-loop strips to adapt the opening around the wrists.

The adjustable hem allows the bottom of the jacket to be tightened to improve fit and limit cold air ingress.

Reinforcements and panels for patches

The reinforced elbows improve the resistance of the areas most exposed to friction and repeated contact.

Several hook-and-loop panels allow patches, identification strips or various compatible insignia to be attached.
