SCU14 Wasp Z2 Mil-Tec Softshell Jacket

The Mil-Tec SCU14 softshell jacket is designed for outdoor activities, tactical leisure and travel in cool or variable weather. Its three-layer laminated structure combines resistance, weather protection and thermal comfort.

Its CIV-TEC® WASP I Z2 camouflage combines intermediate shades designed for mixed environments and transitional areas. Its functional design includes numerous pockets, a retractable hood and multiple adjustments.

Three-layer structure against wind and moisture

The outer layer combines 96% polyester and 4% elastane. Its weight of 310 g/m² offers good resistance while retaining the flexibility needed for movement.

A breathable polyurethane membrane forms the intermediate layer. It helps limit water infiltration and the effects of wind.

The inner polyester fleece layer provides softness and thermal insulation during cool-weather activities.

Breathable membrane with a 5,000 mm water column

The membrane offers a stated water column of 5,000 mm. It provides protection suited to light showers and outdoor moisture.

Its breathable design promotes the evacuation of vapour produced during exertion. It thus helps limit moisture build-up inside the jacket.

The SCU14 provides an intermediate solution between a standard fleece and a heavier waterproof jacket.

Underarm vents to regulate temperature

Zipped closures positioned under the armpits allow air circulation to be increased quickly.

They facilitate heat dissipation during marches, rapid movement and sustained physical activity.

The openings can be closed when the temperature drops to retain more heat.

Wasp Z2 camouflage suited to transitional environments

The CIV-TEC® WASP I Z2 pattern uses fragmented shapes and intermediate shades designed for mixed environments.

It is suited to transitional areas comprising vegetation, dry surfaces, rocky terrain or partially urbanised spaces.

Its technical and distinctive appearance also suits outdoor activities, airsoft and tactical leisure.

Multiple zipped pockets for storage

The jacket features several chest pockets closed by zip. They allow accessories to be kept within reach while reducing the risk of loss.

An interior zipped pocket holds personal items requiring greater protection.

The various closures are equipped with windproof guards to limit cold air ingress.

Retractable hood and practical adjustments

The hood is concealed in the collar when not in use. It can be pulled out quickly in case of wind or a light shower.

The wrists are adjustable via hook-and-loop strips to precisely adapt the sleeve opening.

The adjustable hem allows the bottom of the jacket to be tightened to improve fit and reduce air ingress.

Reinforced elbows and panels for patches

The elbows are reinforced to better withstand friction and repeated contact with the ground or equipment.

Several hook-and-loop panels allow patches, insignia or compatible identification strips to be attached.
