It takes place at the National Training Center for National Police Motorcyclists (CNFM-PN) in Sens, in the Yonne department (89).

Once training is completed, new motorcycle police officers commit to working in their profession for a minimum of 7 years. The ranking determines the assignment of new motorcycle officers.
