The Helikon Wolfhound in Desert Night Camo camouflage is a lightweight insulating jacket designed to provide warmth, mobility, and a small footprint in the field. It combines a WindPack® nylon shell, Climashield® Apex™ synthetic insulation, and a design conceived for outdoor and tactical use, with good resistance to light wind and moisture.

Climashield® Apex™ insulation warm even when wet

The main highlight of this jacket remains its Climashield® Apex™ insulation, here specified as a lightweight 67 g/m² construction on Helikon and retailer sheets. This synthetic insulator retains its thermal properties when wet, making it a true advantage for outings in variable conditions, where a jacket must continue to protect even in humidity or light rain.

Lightweight windproof WindPack® nylon fabric

The WindPack® Nylon® outer shell provides a good compromise between lightness, compressibility, and wind protection. Product sheets also indicate a Teflon® finish, useful for improving resistance to dirt and light moisture. This combination makes the Wolfhound practical as an outer layer in cool weather or as a thermal layer under heavier protection.

Anatomical cut with VersaStretch® panels

The jacket stands out for its anatomical cut oriented toward comfort in movement. The VersaStretch® panels under the arms and at the cuffs promote ease of movement, reduce tension during activity, and contribute to better breathability in high-stress areas. The fleece-lined collar also adds thermal comfort for daily wear or in action.

4 zippered pockets and reliable YKK® zip

In terms of use, the Wolfhound offers four pockets in total, including zippered exterior pockets and a zippered interior pocket according to available sheets. It features a YKK® zipper, recognized for its reliability, as well as a Velcro panel on the left sleeve for identification. The drawcord-adjustable hem finally allows the jacket to be adjusted to better retain heat.
