Mil-Tec Gen.II Wasp Z3A Rain Jacket with Fleece

The Mil-Tec Gen.II rain jacket is designed for outdoor activities in wet, windy or cold weather. Its three-layer laminated construction provides weather protection, while its removable fleece jacket adds extra insulation.

Its CIV-TEC® WASP I Z3A camouflage is designed for vegetation-rich environments. The jacket can be worn with or without its fleece lining to adapt to seasons and activity level.

Three-layer membrane against rain and wind

The outer jacket uses a three-layer laminated construction. The first combines 96% polyester and 4% elastane to offer durability and flexibility.

The second layer consists of a breathable polyurethane membrane. The third polyester layer protects the membrane and improves interior comfort.

Its 5,000 mm water column rating and sealed seams provide protection suited to precipitation and wet conditions.

Removable fleece jacket to adjust warmth

The jacket comes with a removable polyester fleece. It can be attached under the outer jacket or worn separately depending on weather conditions.

This insulating layer improves thermal comfort during cold periods. Removing it allows the overall weight to be reduced when temperatures become milder.

The fleece has two zippered side pockets, a bidirectional front closure and a hem drawcord.

Zippered ventilation and fully sealed seams

Zippered openings are placed under the armpits to quickly increase air circulation during physical effort.

They facilitate the evacuation of heat and moisture produced during walks or physical activities.

The stated breathability of 500 g/m² per 24 hours completes this system, while the sealed seams limit infiltration at assembly points.

Wasp Z3A camouflage for dense vegetation

The CIV-TEC® WASP I Z3A pattern combines different shades of green in a fragmented design intended for heavily vegetated environments.

It is suitable for deciduous forests, coniferous forests, undergrowth and areas close to meadows or farmland.

This modern camouflage helps to visually break up the silhouette while giving the jacket a distinctive technical identity.

Adjustable hood with integrated snow skirt

The large hood is fitted with a drawcord and cord locks. Its opening can be adjusted according to weather conditions and clothing worn.

A snow skirt limits snow ingress, drafts and moisture penetration from the bottom of the jacket.

This equipment improves protection during hikes, winter activities and extended outings in bad weather.

YKK® closure protected by a double flap

The main closure uses a sturdy bidirectional YKK® zipper. It can be opened from the top or the bottom to facilitate movements and access to equipment.

The zipper is protected by a double flap that reduces wind and moisture penetration.

A chin guard limits chafing when the jacket is fully closed.

Protected pockets and patch surfaces

Two concealed side pockets are fitted with waterproof zippers. They allow essential accessories to be carried while limiting their exposure to moisture.

The pockets on the upper arms also feature waterproof zippers and hook-and-loop panels for attaching patches.

A large insertion pocket with a hook-and-loop closure is integrated into the back lining.

Adjustable cuffs and hem

The cuffs are adjustable via hook-and-loop strips. The opening can be tightened around the wrists or adapted for wearing gloves.

The removable fleece has a hem drawcord to limit cold air entry.

These adjustments allow the garment to be precisely tailored to the wearer's build, the layers worn and the conditions encountered.
