The TROOPER MK2 StormStretch® in PL Woodland is a lightweight softshell designed for field activities, outdoor use and tactical applications. Helikon designed it to offer good freedom of movement, flexible wind resistance and more effective ventilation than a heavier or stiffer jacket.

Lightweight, flexible and protective StormStretch® softshell

The StormStretch® fabric is one of the model's key strengths. Its composition of 98% nylon and 2% elastane makes it lightweight, stretchy and suited to dynamic movement. With a weight of 145 g/m², the jacket strikes a good balance between comfort, durability and extended wear in the field.

Effective underarm ventilation and mesh-lined pockets

The TROOPER MK2 stands out for its airflow management. It features underarm ventilation and pockets with a mesh interior, promoting air circulation during exertion or in changeable weather. This improves comfort during active use, especially when the jacket is worn with a pack or over a long period.

Adjustable hood concealable in the collar

The jacket features an adjustable hood that can be stowed in the collar when not needed. This design enhances its versatility: it stays discreet in stable weather, then deploys quickly in wind or light rain. The overall look remains clean and functional, true to the operational spirit of the range.

4 practical pockets and YKK® two-way zips

Helikon opted for a simple and practical layout with 4 functional pockets, complemented by YKK® zip fasteners and two-way zips on the front, front pockets and collar. The Velcro panels on the shoulders add a practical tactical dimension for ID patches or insignia. The total weight of approximately 713 g places the jacket in a protective yet still comfortable everyday-wear category.
