The reversible Wolfhound Hoodie® by Helikon-Tex is a lightweight insulating jacket designed for field and outdoor use. This version combines two camouflage sides, Desert Night Camo and US Desert, for quickly adapting the appearance to the environment. It combines WindPack® windproof fabric, high-performance synthetic insulation and a compact design, useful as a standalone lightweight jacket or as a thermal layer.

Reversible Desert Night Camo / US Desert

The main asset of this model is its double-sided construction, which allows switching from a Desert Night Camo camouflage to a US Desert camouflage without changing jackets. This design enhances its versatility in the field and clearly sets this model apart from classic single-color insulating jackets.

Effective Climashield® Apex™ 67 g/m² insulation

The jacket uses Climashield® Apex™ 67 g/m² insulation, highlighted on the official product sheet as warm, lightweight and compact. This synthetic insulating material is particularly appreciated for its good thermal retention and its ability to remain effective in wetter conditions than moisture-sensitive insulants.

Lightweight, compact and easy to carry

With a weight of 460 g in size L, this Wolfhound Hoodie® remains easy to carry in a bag. Its excellent compactness makes it a practical solution for outings where a warm layer needs to be kept available without adding weight to the kit. It is well suited to mobile use, trekking and outdoor activities in changeable weather.

WindPack®, adjustable hood and YKK® zips

The outer shell in 100% nylon WindPack® provides good wind protection. The jacket also features a large adjustable hood, a YKK® front closure covered by a flap, a VELCRO panel on the left sleeve, as well as a set of practical pockets: two fleece-lined lower pockets, one exterior chest pocket and one interior zippered pocket. The elasticated drawcord adjustable hem further improves thermal retention.
