The Carinthia G 490x sleeping bag is an expedition model designed to face extreme conditions. Thanks to its high-density G-LOFT® insulation and intelligent 3-layer construction, it guarantees remarkable thermal performance down to -44 °C (extreme rating). It incorporates numerous features designed to optimize warmth, comfort and safety in hostile environments. Ideal for polar expeditions, winter mountaineering or bivouacs in sub-zero temperatures.

G-LOFT® 490g/m² insulation, down to -44°C extreme

This model features 490g/m² G-LOFT® insulation, which offers excellent heat retention, even in very humid conditions. The G-LOFT® synthetic technology reproduces the advantages of down while remaining compressible and effective, with an extreme temperature rated at –44 °C, –21 °C limit and –13 °C comfort according to ISO standard.

Ergonomic mummy cut with anatomical foot

The mummy cut with differential cut hugs the body without unnecessary cold zones. The anatomically shaped foot section improves thermal comfort and internal volume. The thermal collar with draft protection around the neck adds extra protection against heat loss.

Two-way closure with integrated draft tube

The two-way zipper allows partial opening for controlled ventilation. It is equipped with an outer windproof flap, an internal draft tube and an anti-snag tape to ensure smooth operation and maximum thermal performance, even at sensitive points.

3-layer construction + Thermoflect to optimize warmth

The bag features a 3-layer insulating construction and incorporates a Thermoflect film, a material that reflects body heat inward. This significantly improves heat retention without adding weight to the bag. Everything remains compressible and comes with a compression bag and storage bag.
