The Protecteur® is a fixed tactical knife designed for extreme emergency situations. Selected by the ALAT (Aviation Légère de l'Armée de Terre), it is used by French combat helicopter pilots for its reliability, rapid penetration and cutting efficiency. Its design is by Philippe Perotti, a specialist in intervention and recognized trainer in the military field. This model comes with a rigid Kydex sheath without MOLLE attachment, for discreet and secure carry.

Symmetrical double-edged blade with smooth and serrated edge

The Protecteur® features a symmetrical dagger-type blade, with a double edge: one smooth side for rapid penetration, the other serrated for cutting straps, cables or tough fabrics. This geometry allows for ambidextrous use and immediate reactivity in critical situations.

Selected by the ALAT, designed for emergency evacuation

This knife was officially selected by the ALAT, to equip its aircrew personnel. It meets strict specifications aimed at allowing pilots to quickly free themselves from their harness or cockpit in the event of impact or crash. This military selection attests to its reliability in extreme conditions.

MOX® stainless steel with ultra-resistant black PVD coating

The blade is made of MOX® stainless steel, a highly corrosion- and wear-resistant alloy, with a black PVD coating that minimizes reflections, improves durability and ensures tactical discretion. This surface treatment is the same as that used for professional military equipment.

Discreet Kydex sheath, without MOLLE attachment, simplified carry

The knife comes with a custom-molded Kydex sheath, rigid and lightweight. Although lacking a MOLLE attachment, this sheath remains easily integrated onto a bag or belt carry, with user-customizable fixation. It ensures a firm hold of the knife while allowing quick access.
