The Bergen Backpack® - Black by Helikon-Tex is a compact 18-liter backpack, designed for bushcraft enthusiasts, short hikes or light survival. Inspired by military bags from World War II, it combines a vintage look, modern functionality, and extreme durability thanks to its Cordura® 500D construction. It positions itself as a more compact version of the famous Matilda Pack, while maintaining excellent organizational and expansion capacity.

Compact 18L volume, ideal for mobile bushcraft

With its 18-liter volume, the Bergen is perfectly sized for one or two-day outings: basic gear, food, tools, poncho, etc. Its compact format makes it lightweight, maneuverable and discreet, even in dense forest passages.

Cordura® 500D: resistant to abrasion and weather

Made from 100% Cordura® 500D nylon, the pack resists scratches, abrasion, moisture and repeated friction. This material, recognized in the tactical world, guarantees reliability and durability over the long term, even in harsh environments.

3 external pockets + MOLLE/PALS for modularity

The pack includes three external pockets (1 front and 2 side), all equipped with drawstring closure + flaps with Fastex buckles. Added to this are MOLLE/PALS straps on the top of the pack, allowing you to attach additional pouches, tools or accessories.

WWII-inspired design: tactical, rugged and functional

The retro military design of the Bergen evokes Allied troops' backpacks during WWII, with a simple yet practical look. It can be customized in a tactical or more bushcraft style, depending on the equipment added to the straps.
