The Gerber Gator Jr machete is equipped with a 25 cm high-carbon steel blade, ensuring robustness and durability. Although the blade is not extremely sharp out of the box, it can be easily sharpened according to the user's needs. The blade is securely attached to the handle by two Allen bolts, which can be tightened to ensure optimal stability.

Sawing serration

In addition to its cutting ability, the Gator Jr machete features high-quality saw teeth on the back of the blade, allowing for easy sawing of thick branches. This feature makes the machete a versatile tool, perfect for various outdoor tasks.

Gerber Gator Grip: Exceptional grip

Fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle

The handle of the Gator Jr machete is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, with a soft rubber surface that mimics the texture of alligator skin. This patented design, known as Gator Grip, offers a firm grip and optimal control, even in adverse weather conditions. For added safety, the machete also features a nylon lanyard.
