The Lowa Zephyr MK2 Mid is a mid-height tactical boot developed to combine lightness, stability and freedom of movement. Its construction in suede leather and breathable textile, paired with a textile lining, makes it particularly suited for demanding operations and dry or hot environments.

Its professional design integrates specific technologies for foot support, rappelling and grip on challenging surfaces.

Lightweight and breathable for intensive operations

The Zephyr MK2 Mid favors a lightweight and breathable construction to improve comfort during extended movements. Its upper combines 80% suede leather and 20% textile, while the lining is entirely textile.

This combination promotes airflow while maintaining a sufficiently robust structure for professional use. At approximately 1,120 g per pair in UK size 8, it remains a lightweight option for a mid-height tactical boot.

Fast-rope protection and precise two-zone lacing

Specific protection is integrated inside the boot to reduce wear caused by fast-rope descents. The mid-height upper also provides additional support without excessively restricting mobility.

The two-zone lacing system allows independent adjustment of the forefoot and the upper part of the shoe. The closed hooks help reduce the risk of accidental snagging during movement or airborne activities.

MONOWRAP® support and dual-density cushioning

The polyurethane midsole uses a double injection construction. A softer layer provides flexibility and cushioning, while a denser layer improves foot support.

The LOWA MONOWRAP® structure wraps and stabilizes the foot to provide enhanced support during changes of direction. The polyurethane foam also helps absorb impacts, particularly at the heel.

The comfort insole completes the assembly to promote extended wear.

X-TRAC® MILITARY non-slip and durable outsole

The LOWA® X-TRAC® MILITARY outsole is made from a specially designed rubber compound to provide grip and durability. Its profile allows use on both urban surfaces and moderate terrain.

It provides non-slip protection and resists oil, fuel and contact heat. The assembly is also antistatic and features insulation against heat and cold.

The Zephyr MK2 Mid is certified as a professional footwear according to DIN EN ISO 20347:2012, with the code O2 HI CI HRO FO SRC.
