The Gatorz Blastshield B2 Milspec are premium ballistic glasses offering advanced eye protection, certified to both MILPRF 32432A (Milspec) and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 2015. With their Cerakote Desert coating, they combine strength, visual comfort and versatility in demanding environments — tactical, military, industrial or extreme outdoor. Designed to withstand severe impacts and multiple projections, these glasses offer comprehensive protection against a variety of eye hazards.

Certified MILSPEC & ANSI Z87.1 ballistic protection

Compliant with MILPRF 32432A, clause 4.8.4, the ballistic lenses provide protection against ballistic fragmentation. They are also certified ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 2015, which means they resist the impact of a 6.35 mm (¼″) steel ball launched at 45.7 m/s (150 fps) without cracking, bursting or detaching, while protecting against optical radiation, liquids, dust and fine particles.

Tested for extreme impacts and various projections

These glasses have been tested to withstand extreme impacts, whether Milspec ballistic fragmentation or high-velocity ANSI projectiles, ensuring reliable protection in high kinetic hazard scenarios. Important note: removal or replacement of original or non-compliant lenses will void these certifications, except with the approved GATORZ ICM interchangeable lens system.

Advanced anti-fog & hydro-oleophobic coating

The lenses are treated with an anti-fog coating to minimize condensation during physical exertion or temperature variations. They also feature a hydro-oleophobic treatment, repelling water, oil and grease to maintain clear vision and facilitate cleaning in various conditions.

Integrated UV 400 protection for extended comfort

Each lens offers complete UV 400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB rays. This effectively protects the eyes during prolonged sun exposure, reducing eye fatigue while improving visual clarity in bright environments.
