Bollé is one of the world leaders in sunglasses. Created in 1888 in Oyonnax by Séraphin Bollé, this French company distinguished itself from others by being one of the first to use a new type of celluloid considered as the first plastic. It became a pioneer of molded nylon in 1945 while offering glasses meeting the most demanding standards. Finally, cit was in 1950 that protective glasses appeared in the range.

In the 1960s, Bollé began producing ski glasses, still very appreciated today thanks to their quality and their style. Although more recent, the production of helmets has also contributed to the brand's success in both skiing and cycling.

Thanks to its unshakeable image, Bollé can rely on prestigious partners like the French ski team and numerous athletes, such as Tessa Worley below, French alpine skier, double world champion or Valentin Madouas professional cyclist and more across sports like golf, triathlon and sailing.

Since 1950, the year when the first protective glasses were created, Bollé has never stopped innovating to produce protective glasses and safety glasses that meet its customers' needs. It would supply the army, navy and French aerospace from 1960. Bollé then launched a range of prescription glasses adapted to the vision of those who wear them.

In 1994, the Bollé Safety brand was founded to specialize in protective glasses, while Bollé focused on leisure and sports glasses. The brand today offers glasses for industry employees, glasses for healthcare professionals and even glasses adapted for work in clean rooms.

Safety glasses are PPE, often neglected, but very important. They must be perfectly adapted and compatible with your working conditions. CSP lenses are available in a range of tints, all designed to improve your performance. 

CSP technology is one of the latest innovations from Bollé Safety, it not only allows to protect the eyes, but also improve vision, which notably allows for more precision during manual work. The different tints are all adapted to different lighting conditions and offer a lot of comfort and optimal perception.

For interiors, the Gradient bronze lensis ideal, as it protects from artificial lights such as neon or halogen while reducing eye fatigue. You can find a vision preview with and without glasses.

The most versatile lenses in the range are the indoor/outdoor lenses. For agricultural, forestry environments, mechanical work and warehouses, the Amber lens is perfect. It changes tints according to the brightness it receives and enhances contrasts well. This type of lens is therefore intended for professionals who change environments frequently for work.

Additionally, the colored polycarbonate lenses Copper and Copper Flash provide protection for workers facing LED lighting such as forklift operators, drivers working at night and more.  

Vision with an Amber lens

No more reflections, thanks to dark Polarized lenses that improve visual comfort, contrast and depth while reducing fatigue. For outdoor professions, Bollé offers lenses featuring the Smoke lens with lower light transmission and protect you 99.99% from UVA and UVB and prevent glare.

For those who work in low-light conditions, Quartz is ideal. For electrical or mining work, Bronze will be perfect, with its absorption of over 75% of blue light. For outdoor work, particularly in marine environments and for long-distance drivers, Silver Flash, Cobalt flash and Fire Flash safety glasses will provide you with exceptional protection even in full sunlight.

Finally, the range features Welding lenses designed to protect workers from ultraviolet and infrared during torch welding work and light cutting to which they are exposed. These lenses ensure them significantly improved vision in order to work with much more precision.
