A complementary range: Modul'Wear by Lafont

Specially designed to help construction professionals fight against the elements, the Modul'Wear range offered by the Lafont brand brings together a number of perfectly complementary garments. By combining "SHELL" parkas (protective, waterproof and breathable) with insulating linings, you get the ideal combination to face all weather conditions.

Summary:

Protective parkas

The "SHELL" parkas are EN 343 certified garments that offer enhanced protection against rain and the elements. Their marking (from 1 to 3) indicates on one hand the degree of resistance to water penetration (thus waterproofing), and on the other hand the degree of evaporative resistance (the breathability). The higher this marking, the more efficient the garment.

The parkas offered as part of the Modul'Wear by Lafont range are of two types to allow you to diversify your work outfit. Ultra technical and functional, the Erwin shell parka with sportwear design is a high visibility parka. Available in three different colors (red, orange or yellow), it is equipped with retro-reflective strips located at the waist, forearms and shoulders. Its adjustable hood with elastic cord is compatible with wearing a hard hat and can be quickly detached if needed. Its high collar effectively protects against cold and rain, while several functional pockets are distributed throughout the garment. Comfortable thanks to its stretch fabric, the Erwin parka meets the EN ISO 343 and EN ISO 20471 class 3 standards for workwear. Its Ripstop fabric makes it both resistant, breathable and waterproof.

If your work does not require perfect visibility day and night, you can favor the Kyrill shell parka and its more discreet black color. Modern and refined, it is suitable for all sectors of activity requiring versatile protection against the elements. Compliant with the EN ISO 343 standard, it combines comfort, elasticity and lightness. Resistant to abrasion and tears thanks to its Ripstop fabric, it has a waterproof TPU membrane that is breathable. Its visored hood is detachable and height-adjustable. Its cuffs are adjustable with velcro while the left side of the chest allows for logo placement.

These two parkas can therefore be used either alone, as protective jackets against the elements, or serve as an outer shell by adding a thermal lining.

Insulating linings

In terms of insulating linings, Lafont offers in its Modul'Wear range no less than 6 different types of garments. Here again, you have the choice between rather outdoor styles or high visibility.

The Tatras HV softshell jacket and its variant Tatras XP are versatile and suitable for professionals who need to be visible from a distance (transport, service, industry, construction, etc). Usable both indoors and outdoors, these 3-layer softshells with Ripstop exterior have a fleece interior, a breathable PU membrane and windproof performance. Only the Tatras XP version has removable sleeves allowing it to be transformed into a vest. They meet the EN ISO 20471 standards (thanks to their retro-reflective strips) and EN ISO 14058 concerning protection against cold when combined with the 9P12 (Kyrill) or 9P02 (Erwin) parka. Several different colors are available.

Available in gray, black or navy blue, the Caucase softshell has similar properties, but without the high visibility characteristics. With a sporty cut and modern design, it aims to be both resistant and discreet for effective protection against wind. It can, again, be worn alone or under a parka and has thermo-regulating properties.

The Carpates hybrid jacket is a warm work garment with quilted fabric and removable sleeves. Resistant to friction, this model is water-repellent and effective against cold. This lined jacket with high collar allows you to stay protected under light rain. Equipped with a recycled batting lining, it is functional and comfortable.

Available in HV colors (yellow and fluorescent orange), the Teddy Alpilles jacket with removable sleeves offers two levels of protection/visibility that are more or less high depending on whether you wear it with or without the sleeves. Equipped with segmented retro-reflective strips, it combines safety, comfort and thermal protection while focusing on a dynamic and modern look.

Finally, the Pirin quilted vest is made of an exterior water-repellent quilted fabric and a lining of warm and comfortable recycled batting. Available in three different colors, it is suitable for all trades requiring protection against cold and can be attached under a shell parka for increased effectiveness against the elements. The attachment points are hidden in the collar and sleeves. The bottom of the vest can be tightened via an elastic cord.

The Lafont brand also offers 3 complementary products : the Champoleon zip-up sweater in jacquard knit with softshell panels, the Vallouise zip-up sweatshirt in HV colors and the Matra 4-in-1 parka versatile and high visibility. Find them all now on our online store.
