The multi-curve Stand Alone ballistic plate from the brand Le Protecteur is made of robust PE with a high-density fabric finish, weighing 1.2 kg. This multi-curve SA ballistic insert with cut corners offers AK47 III+ Mild Steel Core (MSC) protection that protects vital organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys) and the spine.

The Stand Alone (SA) type ballistic plates are autonomous, unlike ICW type ballistic plates. In other words, SA ballistic plates offer the same level of protection whether worn alone or with soft protection such as a bulletproof vest (BPV). Ceramic ballistic plates absorb and dissipate the kinetic energy of a bullet upon impact. The shock wave remains the most lethal, hence the importance of protecting oneself well against it.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
