The Tatonka Single Mesh Tent is a 1-person mosquito tent designed for sleeping sheltered from insects while enjoying excellent ventilation. Very lightweight and compact, it is well suited to minimalist bivouacking, trekking or as an inner shelter under a tarp. The official Tatonka data sheet confirms a weight of 580 g, a small packed size and a nylon floor with a water column of 10,000 mm.

Ultra-lightweight 1-person mosquito tent

The main advantage of this model is its ultra-lightweight design for one person. Tatonka presents it as an airy sleeping mosquito net that protects against insects without weighing down the equipment. At only 580 g, it is clearly aimed at practitioners looking for a minimalist and compact shelter.

Very practical front and side access

The tent offers two entrances, with access possible from the front and from the side. This double opening improves comfort of use and makes access easier depending on the setup or bivouac environment. The Tatonka data sheet confirms 2 inner porch entrances.

Compact format with compression bag

The Single Mesh Tent packs into a compression bag and has a very compact folded format of Ø 12 x 25 cm. Tatonka also specifies that a clothesline is integrated inside. However, neither poles nor stakes are included, which means it must be used with trekking poles or a suspended setup.

Waterproof floor 10,000 mm for greater protection

The floor is made of 70 den Nylon Taffeta 190T PU, with a water column of 10,000 mm. Tatonka specifies that it is a lightweight material with quadruple PU coating, designed to offer good resistance to ground moisture. The mosquito net section uses Bug Beater Mesh Light fabric, a very fine polyester mesh with more than 1,000 holes per square inch.
