The Mil-Tec 10 × 4.8 m military tent is a large-capacity collective shelter designed for camps, logistics installations, events and re-enactments.

Its 48 m² floor area allows for a large sleeping, storage or reception space. Its metal frame and thick Canvas fabric are suited to vehicle-accessible installations.

The tent has a rectangular base measuring 10 m long by 4.8 m wide.

Its total floor area of 48 m² provides enough space for multiple sleeping areas, furniture, equipment or a collective activity zone.

It can serve as a dormitory, logistics post, rest area, exhibition tent or temporary shelter for an event.

Central height of 3.20 m for easy movement

The central section of the tent reaches a maximum height of 3.20 m.

This height allows users to move around standing up and to set up bulky equipment inside.

The side walls measure 1.60 m before meeting the sloping roof panels.

Robust Canvas polyester fabric at 300 g/m²

The outer fabric is made of Canvas polyester with a weight of 300 g/m².

This thick material offers good stability and is suited to camps requiring a resistant textile structure.

The olive green colour reflects the traditional appearance of military equipment and blends easily into a natural environment.

Mandatory delivery by specialist carrier

The complete set weighs approximately 120.50 kg and includes several particularly bulky packages.

Due to its weight and the length of the frame components, delivery must be carried out by a transport company.

Suitable access for the delivery vehicle and several people for handling must be arranged.

Stable and robust metal frame

The frame is made of metal to support the fabric and maintain the tent's large dimensions.

The frame is divided into two sets measuring 180 × 16 × 12 cm and 170 × 13 × 12 cm respectively when packed.

This robust construction is intended for fixed or semi-permanent installations rather than frequent travel on foot.

180 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet

The groundsheet is made of polyethylene with a weight of 180 g/m².

It forms a barrier between the inside of the tent and the ground while making cleaning easier after use.

The tent must be pitched on a flat, stable surface cleared of objects that could damage the floor.

Protection suited to light precipitation

The roof has a water column rating of 300 mm.

This resistance is mainly suited to dew and brief light rain.

For a prolonged installation, it is advisable to choose a sheltered spot, tension the fabric properly and monitor weather conditions.

Setup requiring several people

The dimensions of the fabric and the weight of the frame make assembly difficult for one person alone.

A team is recommended to handle the components, assemble the frame and regularly tension the fabric.

Additional space around the tent must be allowed for installing stakes and tensioning systems.

Packaging divided into several components

When folded, the fabric has a volume of approximately 90 × 90 × 50 cm.

The two frame sets are packaged separately and an additional bag contains the pegs.

This packaging makes it easier to organise the equipment, but requires a utility vehicle, a trailer or suitable storage space.
