The Pair of Ventipads cushions for Polgen/Platiger plate carrier - Black - Tiger Tailor is designed to improve thermal comfort, ergonomics, and buoyancy of the Polgen and Platiger vests. Installed on the front and back of the plate carrier, these cushions create a ventilated space between the torso and the vest, reducing heat and moisture build-up during prolonged wear.

Improved torso ventilation under vest

The ventilation channels allow fresh air to enter from the bottom, then expel warm and humid air upward without directing it toward the face. This airflow reduces the heat felt under the vest and can lower the measured temperature at torso contact by 4 to 6 °C with the Ventipads.

Increased comfort with rigid plates

When fitted to a Polgen or Platiger vest, the Ventipads improve comfort during the wear of rigid plates. The additional space created at the abdomen and sides reduces pinching when the user bends, while improving the distribution of contact with the vest.

Closed-cell foam promoting buoyancy

The closed-cell foam provides additional buoyancy during water operations, with more than 600 g of buoyancy per Ventipad. Combined with a set of Universal Shield UHWPE ballistic plates, the Ventipads can contribute to positive buoyancy exceeding 95 kg.

Compatible with Polgen and Platiger Tiger Tailor

The Ventipads are directly compatible with the Polgen and Platiger plate carriers. Their 270 x 430 mm format can be adjusted by the user to the vest's torso length, regardless of size. The hook velcro patches allow for quick attachment and removal.
