The MCDU trousers in MultiCam® Black by Helikon belong to the Modern Combat Duty Uniform line, designed for service, training and outdoor activities. Resistant, lightweight and breathable NyCo Ripstop

The main fabric is a NyCo Ripstop composed of 50% nylon and 50% cotton, with a weight of approximately 225 g/m². Helikon states that this fabric combines good breathability, abrasion resistance and improved tear resistance thanks to the ripstop weave. This makes it a relevant base fabric for combat trousers intended for intensive use.

VersaStretch® inserts for enhanced mobility

The trousers feature VersaStretch® panels in high-stress areas, particularly at the waist, crotch and back of the knees. These inserts significantly improve freedom of movement and also contribute to quick drying and good breathability in the most demanding areas.

12 pockets and long zipped lateral ventilation panels

One of the model's greatest strengths is its organisation with 12 pockets for equipment. The product sheets consulted also mention long lateral mesh ventilation panels with zipped closure, useful for better heat dissipation during long marches or in warmer conditions. This sets the MCDU apart from a standard cargo trouser.

Cordura® 500D knees with precise adjustments

The knees are reinforced with Cordura® 500D and designed to accommodate internal padding inserts. The trousers also feature adjustments below the knees and at the hem, allowing finer adjustment of the fit and leg position depending on use or footwear. The stated weight is approximately 780 g.
