SwitchBack S Backup Multi-function Ring – Black – Thyrm

The SwitchBack S Backup is a compact variant designed for very small diameter lights (≤ 0.83″ or ≈ 2.1 cm), such as the SureFire EDCL Backup and E1B models. It integrates a rigid indexed retention ring and a discreet MOLLE/PALS compatible clip, offering rapid and secure deployable grip in a format suited for EDC. Designed and manufactured in the United States.

Rigid indexed finger ring for reliable and immediate deployment

Allows easy removal of the flashlight from a pocket or pouch using the SwitchBack technique: index, pull, activate. The ring releases under excessive torque and can be reinstalled.

Pocket clip compatible with MOLLE/PALS, discreet and deep carry

The repositioned clip achieves slightly deeper carry than the original Large model, ensuring discretion and tactical compatibility with MOLLE/PALS webbing.

Ring detaches under strong torsion; easy to reinstall

In case of excessive tension (unexpected pull, impact), the ring automatically releases, preserving comfort and safety. It can be reinstalled without tools.

Supplied with two O-rings to fit different lights

Two included O-rings ensure good attachment to various compact light models, particularly SureFire (EDCL1‑T, EDCL2‑T, E1B, EB1, EB2...). Note: lights with more than 0.830" diameter are not compatible.
