The Insert for VDK chest rig single mag pouch G36 - Black - Tiger Tailor is designed to securely hold a standard G36 magazine or certain 7.62 PMAG and SCAR magazines. Thanks to its proprietary rigid Pliger insert, it ensures active retention suited to professional configurations and Tiger Tailor modular platforms.

Active retention for G36 magazine

The insert provides active retention for a standard G36 magazine, as well as for certain 7.62 PMAG or SCAR magazines. Depending on the presence of a tab, flange, or magazine locking system, the orientation of the Pliger can be modified to achieve the desired level of retention.

Compatible with VDK, VDK Gen.2 and loop panels

This insert can be used in a VDK, a VDK Gen.2, or on an interior loop panel that accepts velcro hook-mounted inserts. This compatibility makes it easy to integrate into various tactical carry configurations.

Removable rigid Pliger insert included

The Pliger is a proprietary Tiger Tailor rigid insert designed for maximum active retention. It allows magazine extraction by twisting motion and is suited for water drainage. The assembly weighs approximately 82 grams and comes with a removable elastic retention.

Versatile pouch without rigid insert

Once the Pliger is removed, the pouch can be used to carry other compatible equipment such as a Taser X2, a smoke grenade, an MP7, or a CM6 grenade. This removable design allows the pouch to be quickly adapted to the required equipment.
