All medium or large-sized public events rely on the presence of security agents and/or law enforcement in the field.
In a context of heightened vigilance due to the terrorist threat, security at events of any nature is a crucial point on which authorities as well as private organizations do not compromise. On average, with a high risk linked to an event, one security agent is counted for every hundred people to search, monitor....
Sometimes difficult to implement depending on the nature of events, security enforcement requires precise equipment for agents sometimes from K-9 units.
Focus on the equipment and material intended for all those who ensure security around events.

First and foremost, a security agent who arrives at their mission location must change to wear adequate and technical attire: the security equipment.
This consists of clothing adapted to the terrain (pants, t-shirt or polo, sweater, jacket, windbreaker or vest stamped "security" and equipped with retro-reflective strips to improve visibility both day and night). Depending on the seasons, it can be completed with a cap or beanie also bearing the "security" mention.
The security agent must also wear security shoes, such as combat boots, adapted to the terrain on which they operate in the context of their duties.
Most of the time, the security agent will also be equipped with communication equipment.
The security agent's service will only end after returning the communication equipment to the organization for which they work, but also after changing to wear "civilian clothes" again.
Prevent, monitor, guard, welcome and filter the public, but also intervene in emergency situations and rescue... The daily life of a security agent in events is to be on all fronts at once!
For this, security clothing is essential but missions also sometimes require security equipment to have on oneself!
Here is a non-exhaustive list of some essentials:
The Walkie-Talkie: of good quality, this communication device essential for a team of security agents must be reliable, robust and therefore of good quality. Sometimes provided by event organizers, it also sometimes belongs to the security agent to be properly equipped with one.
The Universal Radio Holder: A communication accessory by nature, the radio holder, which is worn on the belt, is essential for the security agent.
The Tactical Flashlight: Not necessarily provided by event organizers depending on the missions, a powerful rechargeable tactical flashlight is nevertheless part of the essential equipment of the security agent.
The Armband: Fluorescent or retro-reflective, the armband must be worn for all daytime and nighttime missions of the security agent so that they can be more easily distinguished from the general public but also from their own team.
