An internationally recognized technique for concealing soldiers and equipment, camouflage is inspired by animals and their techniques for going unnoticed in their environment. Camouflage was adopted by armed forces during World War I, and experienced real growth during World War II. The historical colors of camouflage are inspired by the European environment, with tones of green, khaki, brown and beige. Today, there are dozens of camouflages, corresponding to the different terrains of confrontation in external operations: desert, forest, mountain, snow. Fatigues pants, jackets, blousons, hats, gloves, tactical shirts, balaclavas… camouflage is available on all clothing necessary for military personnel on OPEX.
Summary:
The Central Europe camouflage constitutes the standard camouflage of the French army. It consists of four colors distributed in patches: black, beige, brown and green. Military personnel operating in temperate zones have access to numerous items in CE camo colors: jacket, balaclava, combat pants… MultiCam has greater versatility. Almost universal, MultiCam adapts to a wide variety of terrains and remains operational in all seasons. It was designed with blended colors that influence the perception of the eye and brain, and its concealment power increases with distance. Nearly 40 countries use it, including France. Like any camouflage, MultiCam is available on equipment, for example on a combat vest for special operations. The Defcon 5 brand has developed its own disruptive camouflage, the MultiLand, whose performance is unanimously acclaimed.

Armed forces may need to intervene in desert zones, where high brightness, low vegetation and clear horizon expose military personnel to danger. To better blend into the scenery, intervention units have adopted suitable camouflages such as Desert Camo, where beige shades predominate. For intervention in arid zones, Coyote color is also very effective when you need to go unnoticed on a battlefield. Coyote military equipment also pairs very well with Desert Camo, for example for a backpack or combat boots.
