F.U.B.A.R. Coffee: Coffee break as seen by veterans

F.U.B.A.R. Coffee Company is a brand created by veterans of the Royal Netherlands Marine and Air Force. Their goal was to bring together veterans, active personnel, their loved ones and all coffee enthusiasts around a common interest.

Summary:

F.U.B.A.R. Coffee products:

The F.U.B.A.R. Coffee brand offers three different coffee ranges with their own aromas and roasting. Each of them is available in bean or ground form.

The Aviator:

This medium roast blend is intended for those who like to start their day in a pleasant and relaxed manner. A smooth body with fruity aromas composed of beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and Honduras, the Aviator will accompany you everywhere, even during your missions.

The Sheriff:

This blend features bright and tangy notes achieved by blending beans from Peru, Indonesia and Honduras. It presents all the flavor of the beans without their characteristics being masked by roasting.

The Operator:

This strong blend comes from a true dark roast. It is composed of hand-picked beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and Honduras, just like the Aviator. Made from 100% arabica beans, its robust flavors feature chocolate notes and its rich body will allow you to start the day in the best possible way.

You can also find accessories to accompany your coffee. A thermos, a mug and even a coffee press. The F.U.B.A.R. Coffee brand also offers other types of beverages: a latte macchiato to be consumed chilled as well as Jet Fuel, an energy drink.

The F.U.B.A.R. Coffee team: Who are they?

F.U.B.A.R. Coffee originates from two former military personnel whom we will briefly introduce to you. Pim Vieberink, who began his military career as a paratrooper in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps in 2008. He then joined the Royal Air Force in 2014 to become a loadmaster on the legendary C-130 Hercules. Since then, he has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Mali among others. Now, in this new adventure, he is in charge of marketing and social media for the brand.
His partner, Tom Holthausen, began his career as an infantryman within the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps in 2007. He then became a non-commissioned officer after experiencing Afghanistan and shortly after completed the selection for MARSOF. He then continued his specialization in the United Kingdom by becoming a mountain leader within the Royal Marines Commando ML. Now, it's Tom who is in charge of the brand's commercial strategy.

Learn more about the C-130 Hercules:

Also known as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, this military aircraft was designed in the early 1950s by the United States. After successful tests, in 1956, the C130-A Hercules was put into service within the USAF (United States Air Force), capable of carrying 6 master 463 I pallets (standardized handling pallet). Since then, this aircraft has been very successful with more than 2,200 units built for about fifty user countries and has accumulated a total of 12 million flight hours (more than 227 days of flight per vehicle).
There are also specialized versions capable of carrying drones (DC-130), exfiltrating/infiltrating special forces (MC-130), transporting high-ranking officials (VC-130) and much more.

Learn more about MARSOF (Maritime Special Operations Forces):

MARSOF corresponds to the maritime special operations forces of the Netherlands from the Royal Dutch Navy. It is one of three units responsible for special operations in the country (the others being the Korps Commandotroepen of the Royal Army (KTC) and the Special Security Operations Brigade of the Royal Marechaussee (BSB)). This unit can be deployed worldwide to conduct special operations. It was created in 2013 following the merger of the Marine Intervention Unit (UIM) and the Maritime Special Operations (MSO) company.

Military life creates intense bonds, in good times and bad, in joy and in difficulty. The brand's objective is to unite this community, this identity, this family in order to bring together all men and women with the goal of supporting each other. This is particularly possible because it donates a percentage of each sale to veteran organizations worldwide.
